Video Game News, the Latest Buzz

May 11, 2011

Whether you enjoy piloting a remote controlled, bomb strapped toy car into a competitor’s lap, or swathing through swarms of goblins and rodents of unusual size, the next year’s video game news should have your fan boy mouth frothing with anticipation. What are we referring to, you ask with drooling mandibles, fingers twitching as you press imaginary buttons in anticipation? The two hottest titles of the year, Rage and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Rage bursts out of the gate with guns blazing, and was easily chosen at last year’s E3 as the hottest title in multiple categories. Video game news is nearly bursting with coverage on the title, which is expected to hit store shelves in September. The game is set in a post apocalyptic America, where a brutal competition has our protagonist wading through friend and foe alike to survive. Video game news reporters on hand at E3 describe the title as a fast paced, dead aimed shooter that delivers visually and viscerally. No video game news story that covered E3 was complete without a writeup on the bloody action fest, and lines to play stretched across the convention.

Also coming from the producers of Rage is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a role playing game set in the continent of Skyrim and has the world being ravaged by fire breathing, giant winged dragons. This is a huge development for the Elder Scrolls series of games, and video game news has been abuzz with juicy gossip and any tidbit that can be heard on the soon to be released blockbuster. Skyrim developers have a long running history with excellence in game design, and have produced countless other RPGs that keep delivering for years of quality game play.

Expect to hear more about Skyrim and Rage from any number of video game news sites as the buzz grows louder.
